SFTE EC Symposium 2011 - Programme and Registration Information

Welcome to the Annual Symposium of the Society of Flight Test Engineers, European Chapter!

The 22nd Annual SFTE European Chapter Symposium will be hosted in Tolouse (France) from the 14th to the 16th of June 2011.

The Symposium’s motto is:

« Flight Tests: First Customer »
As the last step of the development process, Flight Tests shall guarantee a successful Entry Into Service. In only some months, every operational conditions of the future life of the product shall be validated, which implies to apply representative procedures.

The papers will be made available during the symposium and on the members SFTE EC website.

Preliminary Programme

• Opening Ceremony shared with ETTC 2011 (European Test & Telemetry Conference).
• Technical presentations & Vendor exhibition at the Centre de Congrès Pierre Baudis.
• Symposium dinner at the Abattoirs Museum of Modern Art
• Airbus A380 Final Assembly Line guided tour.

Registration
Registration must be completed in advance, using the on-line registration proceedure on the SFTE EC web site.
All details for registering is shown in the registration form. Some of the more important infromation is shown below.

Early registration is encouraged to assist program planning.

Registration Information

The Full Technical Registration includes:
- Technical Sessions – Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
- Technical Tour – Wednesday
- One copy of proceedings on USB key
- Coffee during breaks, lunches – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Welcome reception on Tuesday and dinner on Wednesday

Full Technical Registration have the following options:

• SFTE members: € 300
  This option is also for corporate member company employees.
• Non SFTE members: € 350
  A free SFTE one year membership will be offered during the symposium.
• Retired FTE: € 150
  Experiences and interesting stories from retired FTE are more than welcome.
• Student: € 50
  The dinner and proceedings are NOT included in this fee.

Symposium Dinner

• Extra tickets for the Symposum Dinner will cost: € 60

Symposium Proceedings

• Extra Symposium Proceedings will cost: € 50

Partner Tours

• Partner Tour on Tuesday: € 100
  Direct cost for bus/tram-tickets/guide etc, minimum participants 10 Persons.
• Partner Tour on Wednesday: € 100
  Direct cost for bus/tram-tickets/guide etc, minimum participants 10 Persons.
