BAE SYSTEMS Experience in Flight Test Partnering and Teaming

Abstract

This paper provides a brief overview of the experiences of BAE SYSTEMS and its Predecessor Companies in the flight testing of Military Aircraft against a number of different partnering and teaming arrangements.

Experience is drawn from both National and International Projects and considers the way in which the Company has responded flexibly to the wide variety of different demands that it has faced over the years.

Whilst both National and International Programmes are considered particular emphasis is placed on the changing relationship between the Company and the UK Customer’s Official Test Authority, initially as A&AEE and now as QinetiQ
