Abstract
Dutch Space, NLR and Aérazur develop an autonomously guided parachute system for precision delivery of cargo. The system named Spades (Small Parafoil Autonomous Delivery System) and precursors of the system were tested in co-operation with the Royal Netherlands Army and the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The test methods and test strategy applied for the development are presented together with a description of the system and the gained test results.
